Pine Ridge Resort Tour: Visit to Cheon Jeon Won

Exciting day!

On the 2nd day of Pine Ridge Resort, the children of the Chung Pyung 40-day Special Workshop for International Teenagers and University Students went to Seorak Mountain National Park and Seockcho beach. Fortunately, the weather cleared up with beautiful sunshine and the members were excited to see and experience one of the greatest creations of heavenly parents.

From the entrance the members took a 40 minutes hike course to 'shakable rock' and took a commemorative photograph. The temperature was hot with high humidity but all of the participants seemed to enjoy the exercise and scenery.

After spending lovely time at Seorak Mountain National Park, the members came back to Pine Ridge Resort and ate lunch. Then the members departed for Seokcho beach for an afternoon swim. Despite being in the middle of rainy season in Korea the members were blessed with a beautiful sun at the beach.

After some quick notifications the members enjoyed their 3 hour time on the beach. There were children jumping in the water with tubes, playing volley ball or MATANAGE and other sports on the beach.

At around 3 o'clock the members were given watermelon from the Pine Ridge Resort which was a delicious gift in a very hot weather.

After returning from the beach and eating yet another delicious dinner, the participants gathered at the Seminar Room located at the 1st basement floor of the main building at Pine Ridge Resort. There was entertainment organized by the students with performances of songs, dancing and other exciting programs.

Before the performances a cake was provided by the Pine Ridge Resort which was cut by Mr. In-pyo Moon, Chung Pyung Training Center Lecturer, Rev. Rainer Fuchs and representatives of members.

A total of 10 performances were performed by the members; trio from United Kingdom, Carmel Mould, Patrick Pritty and Laurie Mann who sang two songs, Pompeii by Bastille and Never Forget by Carmel Mould; dance performance by the Swedish members of the Group called the 'Swedes'; Kyosei Nagai, Tomohide Hishimura, Pierre Moreau who rapped a song by Fort Minor; James Henry and Katsuhito Maeda who sang Home by Philip Philips; Jonathan Stephan who was also the MC sang a song with a guitar; Elisa Czerny and Patrick Pritty sang Titanium by David Guetta feat. Sia and Jar of Hearts by Christina Perri; Jeungsun Shongwe played a beautiful song by a guitar and sang a nice country song; Howard Miller who played Mozart 20th concerto, 2nd mvt and Mozart 10th serenade, 7th mvt; which ended with a song where all the participants sang a song together.

After beautiful and exciting programs the participants were then sent to the Karaoke Rooms and to the spa and sauna to enjoy the rest of the evening.

The following day the members woke up at 7:00 am in their rooms and after a short Hoon Dok Hae session they gathered at 'Iris' the restaurant for breakfast. After breakfast the members departed for Chung Pyung by 9:20 am ready to enjoy their stay at Chung Pyung for the rest of their period.
