2013 Blessed Children Coming of Age Ceremony

The '2013 Blessed Children Coming of Age Ceremony' was held from 7. 4-5 by the heavenly calendar (Solar: August 10-11) for two days consisting with educational lectures and the ceremony. The program was; Opening Ceremony (Rev. Yeong-ho Ha, President of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center), Chanyang Yeoksa, Dae Mo Nim's Words, Blessed Lectures (Rev. Man Eung Jo, Director for Family Department, Family Federation) that helped the blessed children to prepare their hearts for the Coming of Age Ceremony.

The Coming of Age Ceremony was held on 7. 5 by the heavenly calendar (solar: August 11) in the Main Hall of Cheonseong Wanglim Palace (Heavenly Palace). A total of 107 people from Korea, 166 from Japan and 67 people from International were the attending number for this Coming of Age Ceremony. The MC was Rev. Myeong Gwan Lee, General Director of Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center. After the opening address the Cheon Il Guk anthem was then sang, bowing, reciting of the family pledge and then a prayer by Rev. Jae-sun Choi, Director of Progress Department and an offering of flowers. The all the members attending the Coming of Age Ceremony were sprinkled with Holy Water with representatives of the attending members came on to the stage in front of Rev. Jo who declared the Coming of Age Declaration. After Rev. Jo's congratulatory address there was a reading of poem by the representative of students. After reading the 'Crown of Glory' made by True Parents the members were moved by the atmosphere. Then there was the Coming of Age Confirmation Certificate which was then given to 6 students representing each team. After a singing by a 2nd generation vocalist Mika Goto the members sang 'Congratulations' to the cake cutting and celebrated their Coming of Age.
