2013 Arts Festival for World Peace and Unification at Cheong Shim Peace World Center

The '2013 Arts Festival for World Peace and Unification' was held at the 2nd floor of Cheong Shim Peace World Center during the '2013 Summer Chung Pyung Special Great Works' (solar: August 23-25). In commemoration of the 1st Anniversary of True Father's Universal Seonghwa this arts festival was held to express the respect and nostalgia for True Father through this exhibition.

The exhibition recruited arts for around 1 month since June 20 and anyone above 3 years old could participate with the theme of 'Peace', 'Unification', and 'Purity'. The area for the works of art are watercolor, western painting, oriental painting, calligraphy, literati paintings, sculptures, Mosaic (Group) and 727 works of art earned the glory of the 1st prize, 2nd prize, 3rd prize, grand prize, excellence, and special category. For the opening ceremony on August 22, True Mother and the True Grandchildren came to the exhibition center and viewed around the event hall.

The general winner for all the departments was Heung Yun Lim (Busan, Korea) who created a folding screen with True Father's 'Crown of Glory' and True Father's prayer from the Cheon Seong Gyeong.

The awarding ceremony was held from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm on August 25 at Cheong Shim International Youth Center Main Meeting Hall.
