World Seonghwa Cultural Festival

In the evening of the 2nd day of the Special Workshop for Blessed Children the 'World Seonghwa Cultural Festival' was held at the Cheong Shim International Youth Center by Heung Jin Nim and Dae Mo Nim. The World Seonghwa Cultural Festival is created to develop the Shim Jung culture of Blessed Children and blessed children from around the world filled the Gymnasium of the Youth Center. The event started from 8:30 pm and the festival was divided into two parts; part 1: World Seonghwa Cultural Festival and part 2: 2013 Music Festival. The MC was Mr. Sang-oh Kim, Lecturer from the Progress Department, Chung Pyung Heaven and Earth Training Center.

For Part 1, the 'World Seonghwa Cultural Festival' 9 teams from Korea, Japan and International Blessed Children performed dance, songs and played the drums. The first act was done by 20 Korean Seonghwa Students who did Black Light Performance. After the place went quite in a very serious atmosphere a great applause was given when people saw the words 'We can have victory because we have everything!' This performing team won the 1st prize among all the Seonghwa Students performance in a recent competition.

The 2nd and 3rd performance was done by International students, Akifumi who did the Popping Dance which was then followed by Rachael who sang 'I believe' which she composed herself. Everyone listening to her beautiful song were moved very much. The song had a message, If you do not give up and do your best then you are able to change the world. The 4th performance was done by 37 Seonghwa Students from Japan who performed 'Cheon Il Guk Sky Bushi'. There is a different Soran melody in each part of Japan but this Soran team created this dance for Chung Pyung. Then Julia from Australia and Carmel from England performed 'Little Talk' on the stage.

Then 19 Korean Seonghwa Students came to the stage to play the drums. The Peace Bridge Team won the 1st prize for the 2009 International Youth Friendly Competition and many other awards performed magnificently in front of the crowd. They also recently played their drums in front of True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind at the recent Nation Wide Camp in Korea.

For the 7th performance, Ji ye Shingok and Hyeong Chan Kim, teachers of the Korean Seonghwa Workshop came to the stage as a duet and sang 'Heart Attack'. For the 8th performance Elisa from Czech Republic and Shanna from USA came to the stage as a duet and sang 'Rolling in the Deep'.

The last performance for the students was done by a choir of 42 Japanese Blessed Children who sang the song 'Tears'. This song is a song that expressed the prayer of True Father. The representatives of each region of Japan came together during the Seonghwa 14-day Workshop for Japanese Members in Chung Pyung and performed this emotional song to commemorate the 1st Anniversary of the Universal Seonghwa of True Father'.

Part 2 was the 2013 Music Festival which started from 10:00 pm. First there was an exciting Laser Show then congratulatory messages from Korean stars through a video, history of the Music Festival and so on. The stage was then taken over by famous K-pop singers; Coyote, Kilgu Bongu and Su-ho and Eilie.
