Father and Mother Moon, The Reverend Dr. and Mrs. Sun Myung Moon and their family, children and grandchildren have embarked on a 40 nation speaking tour. Rev Moon announced this very shortly after Mrs. Moon had completed her world speaking tour and they had blessed four of their grandchildren in marriage.

In every country visited, 12 rallies will be held on the same day. The tour started in Korea on August 31, on September 1, Japan was visited, on September 3, the United States, and then Canada. Reports are pasted below, and below them the speech given by Rev Moon. The same or slightly altered speech is given by his wife, children and grandchildren. Nine European countries or regions will receive them and hold rallies starting on Wednesday, September 6.

Rev Moon refers to the significance of the number three in his teachings and often plans events in threes: in the 1970s he held three large rallies in the US: in Madison Square Gardens, then Yankee Stadium, both in New York, and then at the Washington Monument in the nation's capital. This new tour follows the success of Mrs. Moon's speaking tour and Rev Moon's international tour of last autumn, including his inauguration of the Universal Peace Federation on November 2 in The Hague (Scheveningen). As will be seen from his speeches, he talks of the importance of a three generational family, and the first tour represented one generation, himself, supported by his wife; in the second, Mrs. Moon (Dr Hak Ja Han Moon) was accompanied by one or more children, who also spoke in public; and in this tour, some of his grandchildren will be the main speakers at the rallies.

The tour will not visit the Netherlands, the Universal Peace Federation's Dutch chapter is supporting neighboring countries, and will later hold similar rallies at which the same speech will be read, on September 30 and throughout the rest of the year.
