When the state leader of Texas and attending a leaders meeting with True Father in 1974 I witnessed True Father get very angry at a brother state leader, who had literally sent all of his members to headquarters for joining national outreach teams. The brother was 100% following True Father's direction to send "all his members."

True Father had earlier sent a directive for state leaders to send all of their members for national teams. This brother followed/obeyed 100%. He got chastised severely by the Messiah in public for being stupid.

True Father said, "How will you now carry out my many other directives without any members in your state?"

True Father is the voice of God speaking. True Father is a radio that God uses like a medium to tell God's needs to us. True Father is now listening to or reading messages he has channeled to us over the years, this is called Hoon Dok Hae. Heavenly Father's needs are endless and they increase daily as the timetable of the Providence unfolds. Problem we have not enough members or success to fulfill the endless needs of Heavenly Father. This places on us the burden of choosing directives from True Father and doing our best to fulfill them. Wisdom is to choose the most important, most urgent directives that would result with the greatest loss if not fulfilled, while not destroying the rock foundations we stand on. Elders in the movement or our "Abel's" are doing this daily. True Father often pulls out a little black book at meetings with a very long list for the leaders to fulfill. The leaders go away from meetings with True Father feeling overwhelm with multitude of directions and their hopelessness to accomplished just even a few of the directives. These directives or needs of God are very real, but we members are too little and too unaccomplished.

Older members, blessed members and blessed children are diamonds to True Father and God. They would never want to lose older members to gain new, younger, untrained or weak members. Wisdom speaks to keep the rock foundation of a structure strong and reliable. Protecting and growing ones blessing is the main mission we all have, but not the only one.

God's or the public's gain however is that our blessing is grown or strengthen by married brother and sisters centering their Give and Take on missions they together strive to fulfill rather than their selfish feelings or desires. As marriage unfolds the problems are overcome by individuals rising above their spiritual situation to find unity on progressive higher levels. God's needs being the center of a couple will help the couple rise above their personal hurts or human frailties -- while focus on individual hurts will pull the force of evil into that couple or individual. This requires both husband and wife to agree on the sacrifice for a particular mission. If one spouse doesn't agree then there is a great chance evil will be pulled into the blessed couple's situation or one member and an eventual destruction of the couple. This is not in God's interest for it is one more brick of Heavenly Father's foundation lost. However, it is also no good to relent to the selfishness of one spouse to refuse public sacrifice; this is where wisdom, cleverness, prayer, love, discussion is needed to raise up ones spouse to understand the gains by uniting with directives or needs of Heaven and the losses by not. One may have to delay their response to "Heavens" directives for the time to ease their spouse to freely choose to go a different direction. The Kingdom of Heaven comes by our freely choosing to create it by discovering parental love in losing ourselves as we love others.
