Dear STF Parents,

Greetings from the STF Parents Association!

This is a busy time with True Father’s speaking tour, but we need to communicate with all STF parents regarding some important recent leadership changes in CARP and STF and news updates.

On September 1st, it was announced that Rev. Joshua Cotter, formerly World CARP USA President and Co-Director of STF-USA, was inaugurated in his new mission with FFWPU National Headquarters in New York. Continental Director Dr. Chang Shik Yang has appointed Rev. Joshua Cotter as the National Director for Field Operations for FFWPU.

Mr. Kizushi Mito was appointed as the president of World CARP, USA, on Thursday, September 8th. At the same time, he was appointed as a new vice president of the FFWPU.

Mr. Ittetsu Aoki, International Director of STF, announced this summer that, as of this year, the Director of the STF USA first year program will be Mr. Roland Platt, and the Director of the STF USA second year program will be Mr. Nobuki Ishibashi.

Our congratulations to all of these new appointments!

We would also like to give you a list of this year’s STF Parents Advisory Board Members: Rev. Joshua Cotter, Rev. Phillip Schanker, Dr. Andrew Wilson, Mr. Alan Jessen, Mrs. Margaret Jessen, Mr. Michael Irwin, Mrs. Beverly Berndt, Mr. Gary Abrahams, Mrs. Cynthia Hiromitsu, Mr. Larry Krishnek, Mr. Mike Lograsso, and Mrs. Susan Munsell.

Each Board Member supervises a certain geographical area, which is covered by local STF Parent Representatives. You should be hearing from your Parent Representative by the end of this week at the latest.

We would also like to refer you to the STF USA website, which has been undergoing major improvements over the summer. The address is www.stfusa.com. This year we will be using the website for many different communications, such as news from the field, STF testimonies from parents and from members, Hyun Jin Nim’s speeches, the STF Handbook, and reports from major workshops. Please visit our website often!

October 22 and 23 we will have our next Parents Workshop at the Estes Park YMCA in Colorado. More information will be sent out through Parent Representatives and available on the STF website.
