I didn't really want to share this because I felt it was just too easy, but....

For the 30,000 blessings condition to be fulfilled by Aug. 31st, I felt no hope that I could fulfill this goal. I had fulfilled the 10,000 last year with my children and a niece who was visiting for the summer. It was plain difficult to go out since I personally do not enjoy approaching people. That's just me (even though I do my best to fulfill).

Anyway, I called up my state leader and told her that I didn't think I could fulfill this goal since it was difficult for me last year and I was working almost full time now and I just didn't have the heart to do it. She shared that the direction was to fulfill any way you can and get the numbers.

She also shared something she said Dr. Hendricks thought was a good idea. She sprayed holy water onto the hands of her kids and herself. Then she went to stores or malls that had those gumball/candy machines. They would put their hands over the machines and pray over them and then they would put a tiny sticker with the words "True Parent, True Family, True Lineage". Then you approximate how many gumballs/candy there were. That was your count.

Well, I thought that was very easy and I could fulfill that. In a matter of 2-3 days, with my children, we counted 30,000. I went to drugstores, supermarkets (I left the malls alone because there were so many members there), and little stores. Then, I thought of the truck stops along the highways. I only had to go to one because there were so many candy machines. My kids and I sprayed our hands, prayed in our car and then went out and touched the machines and put little stickers on the sides of them. So, we fulfilled our 30,000 that way.

I honestly didn't want to share this because I was somewhat embarrassed that it was too easy. My state leader did tell me this was one way and that getting the numbers was a condition. So, I did it this way. I did begin with giving candy and then pledge cards that were sprayed with holy water, but I got most of the numbers through the gumball machines.
