Letter From Rev Hernandez To District 9 Families

Dear Brothers and Sisters, All Families of District 9

We truly have an amazing opportunity before us and this opportunity will not last forever. True Parents are coming to the Original Divine Principle workshop in Las Vegas on June 4-8. Fortunately, Las Vegas is not so far away from us here in District 9, especially some of our western states. True Father has strongly emphasized that he wants ALL Blessed Central Families to attend this important workshop. The contents bring the Principle to a new level of depth and clarity for all of our families and Father knows that this is essential to our life of faith.

Participants will not only be enriched by these contents, but they will receive Father’s graduation certificate upon completing the workshop. Those who have gone before, including Rev. Jenkins, Rev. Hentrich, Rev. Sakai, Rev. Orikasa, Rev. Schnorr and myself, all attest to how valuable the workshop is and how much we all need not only a refresher in the Principle like this, but deeper understanding, especially in terms of Absolute Sex and Shimjung, which are the areas emphasized throughout these workshop presentations.

I want to ask each member to look into his or her heart and calendar to see if you can participate in this workshop. The workshop fee is $500, and through In Jin Nim’s sincere request to Father, the special conditional offering was reduced from the original amount of $7,000 (which Japanese members are still required to offer) to $700. This is still a substantial amount of money, but this is Father’s grace to allow us in America to participate and also to be with True Parents in person one more time. Please consider this deeply and contact your state or city leader as soon as possible if you can attend.

If you want to participate and can participate but a money-gap is a great issue, please let them know. If you feel the value of this but cannot participate due to work/school schedules, etc., please help us by donating to a special fund by which others might be assisted. (Write in the memo area “ODP fund” and make the check payable to ‘HSA-UWC’.) We want to connect with Father and Mother and In Jin Nim and God’s deepest heart at this time with this workshop which is only a few hundred miles from us here in parts of District 9.
