We wish for True Parents' blessing upon your family and nation.

We would like to inform you of an adjustment to the Registration Unification Blessing Ceremony and information about the special 43-day condition, as follows.

Previously we sent an official letter on November 27, 2000, that included the direction that the husband attending the Registration Blessing must participate for seven days beginning from the 6th Registration Blessing ceremony. However, the period that the husband must attend will now not be 7 days, but 3 days, as before. The workshop fee will also be the same as it was previously; Ages 4-13: 25,000 won; ages 14 and over: 35,000 won.

There will be an additional educational program for husbands in February or March, 2001, and we will inform you more about this later.

True Parents proclaimed the ceremony for the liberation of the spirit world in commemoration of the 50th anniversary of True Father's release from Hungnam prison in North Korea on October 14, 1950. Since then, True Parents made a special condition for 49 days until December 1. They have now given instructions that all nations offer a special 43-day condition and period of activities.

True Parents' instructions are as follows:

1) Period: December 1, 2000 - January 12, 2001 (43 days)

2) Focus of Prayer

(1) For the safety of True Parents' family and True Children's families

(2) For the victory of the campaign for the Second Blessing of 400 Million Couples.

(3) For the establishment of the foundation for God's fatherland and for the unity in heart of the Unification community.

3) Goals of the Activity Period

(1) Each blessed family should find one couple (i.e. two people) for the matching.

(2) Organize a hoon dok group so that you can focus on neighborhood and local area (grass roots) movement (Tong/ban gyok-pa).

4) Methods of Doing Activity

(1) Find matching candidates among your relatives.

(2) Regularly hold seminars to explain the blessing, so as to find candidates.

(3) Each continent and nation should strengthen their focus on activities to find blessing candidates who already have a partner whom they have selected.

(4) Strengthen Principle workshops of 3 days, 7 days and 21 days for the blessing candidates.

(5) Revive members' spirits and witness intensively to new members through revival meetings.

(6) In addition, each continent and nation should establish an appropriate plan for their activities.

5) Additional Instructions

(1) Each nation’s leadership should choose appropriate internal conditions (such as chain fasting and night prayer vigils)

(2) Keep daily recitation of the Family Pledge, Hoon Dok Hae and reporting meeting.

Based on the victory of this 43-day campaign, True Parents will hold the "Ceremony to Enthrone True Parents as Parents of Heaven and Earth," on the next day, January 13, 2001.

Please would each continent and mission country invest their heart in the conditions and activities during this time.
