A) Cheon Il Guk year 3 ..special 40 day activities.

I already sent out the directions that were written by the world mission office. However there are some differences in the directions that were given to the Korean church. Below you can find an unofficial translation!!!! of the official directions that were sent out to the Korean churches July 18th. Some churches e.g. Ansan church have been very busy so they began the 40 days this weekend.

The Official Letter:

1. At this spot in the providence are you making a lot of effort?

2. As we expand our activities for the providence of the restoration of the Fatherland for the sake of the settlement of Cheon Il Guk in the 3rd year of Cheon Il Guk we are putting into practice the special 40 days of activities. Please lead all the members in your areas to participate. The Cheon Il Guk 3rd year special 40 days mobilization The Meaning and Purpose.

1. In accordance with the 3rd year of Cheon Il Guk ,to show the glory of True Parents to the world and to strengthen the foundation for the settlement of Cheon Il Guk.

2. To inherit the historic tradition of 40 days special activities and to dedicate the witnessing achievements to heaven.

3. To accomplish growth of the church by witnessing to the people that we made relations with through the providential events (The World Culture and Sports Competiton , Peace Cup Korea 2003) The Period of Activities 2003 July 20 ? August 28 (40days) Mobilized people: All members from the age of 16 Goals

1. Activities to form (organize) The Family Party Tribe of 430 families.

2. 1 person to witness to 1 person (sign membership, attend Sunday Service)

3. At each church to hold at least 2 services that are fully attended.

4. At each church to hold a revival meeting at least once. Contents of the activity to be emphasized

1. Activities for the formation of family church hoondok gatherings in the towns, townships and dongs (i.e. local area)

2. At the regional or church level to absolutely hold mountain climbing at least once or another meeting to cultivate the mind.

3. Encourage the foreign mobilized members and hold a brotherhood ceremony with Peace Ambassadors.

4. Each church to hold at least 3 days of revival meetings. Special Prayer Condition.

1. Night prayer and member relay prayer to be put into practice depending on the situation of the church.

2. Prayer contents

a) For the long life and safety of True Parents and True Parent¡¯s Family.

b) For the success of the UN providence and the victorious progress of the Seoul Peace Declaration. Items of administration

1. Each regional H.Q. should stand in the front of the mobilization The regions and churches should have the consciousness of going to war and fully mobilize making a firm promise to act in accordance with the directions.

2. To consistently care for the blessed couples . They can do activities in their area of mobilization or locally and lead them to do so thoroughly.
