Re : Special Blessing of Second Generation (tentative) in the 5th Year of Cheon Il Guk
May the love and blessings of the Transcendent Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind be with all leaders and mission countries as we usher in a new year of hope in the 5th year of Cheon Il Guk. True Parents will bestow the special grace of a matching and Blessing for the second generation in the 5th year of Cheon Il Guk on a date prior to their birthday.
This special Blessing for the second generation will be held in the form in which Blessings would have been held in the original-world without the fall. All leaders should confirm the participation of second generation members who are qualified for this special Blessing by True Parents and encourage second generation candidates to do their utmost in preparing for this Blessing.
1. Second Generation Blessing Candidates
1) Age range: 17 – 23 (Those born between February 7, 1982 and February 8, 1988)
2) Qualifications:
a. Second generation members who have proudly preserved the purity of their lineage and who have had no girlfriend/boyfriend relationship with the opposite sex (maintaining purity)
b. Absolute faith to accept Father’s match without question (obedience)
c. Willingness to receive international Blessing to create one global family (international blessing)
d. Those who have been previously matched or blessed are not being called to this event
e. Those who have no special physical or psychological problems (good health)
f. Seven-day fast: Even if the second-generation candidate has previously completed a 7-day fast, a new 7-day fast must be done for the sake of participating in this Blessing Ceremony.
g. Candidates, parents, leaders and the Second Generation Office and national leader should confirm the above six points.
※ Second generation members born before February 7, 1982, who otherwise qualify in all respects in relation to "2) Qualifications"and who wish to participate in this Blessing may make preparations to attend this Blessing by participating in the preparation and schedule for this Blessing along with the other candidates. Note: Each national headquarters should send data that clearly indicates this distinction between candidates, to inspring@tongil.or.kr by 12 midnight, Korean time, at the close of January 27.
Matchings of those who submit falsified documents will automatically be canceled. Please keep in mind that if a match made by True Parents is broken, neither party to that match will be able to participate in this Blessing.
2. Documents to Submit
1) Second Generation Blessing Application Form (pdf)
2) Recommendation From Church Leader (pdf)
3) Photos:
a. Head and shoulder (8 x 10 inch): Forehead should be visible (face should not be looking down)
b. Full length (8 x 10 inch): Should be taken from the front (should not be taken at an angle)
4) Receipt for payment of Blessing donation
5) Certificate of full payment of monthly family membership fees by candidate’s parents (for Korea and Japan)
6) Certificate of residence
7) Certificate of family registration (if you can)
8) Certificate of academic achievement (photocopy of graduation certificate)
9) Certification of health examination (from certified medical establishment)
3. Blessing Workshop
Each national or continental HQ should conduct 2-day Blessing Preparation Workshops in each of their respective countries. Second Generation Blessing Candidates must participate in the Blessing Workshop (non-participating candidates will not be eligible for the Blessing)
4. Application Deadline (Applications that arrive after the deadline will not be accepted)
1) Deadline: Thursday, January 27, 2005
2) Please send documents by registered mail (envelopes sent by ordinary mail may be lost) or E-mail (please refer to "6. Inquires")
5. Matching and Blessing
1) All Second Generation Blessing Candidates who are found eligible for the Blessing by the Second Generation Offices in Korea, Japan, USA, and Europe should arrive and register at Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center by 5 p.m. on February 8. Please bring your suit (dark blue for bridegrooms) or wedding dress (for brides).
2) From February 9, there will be an education and matching program for second generation Blessing candidates worldwide.
3) In accordance with True Parents’ instructions, parents of Blessing candidates may not come to Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center and should not meet with or contact their children while they are there.
4) The Blessing Ceremony is scheduled to be held at the Cheongpyeong Heaven and Earth Training Center. (The exact date and time will be announced later.)
