Report on April 12 ACLC Prayer Breakfast

April 21, 2008
Our April ACLC Prayer Breakfast was held at the Sayre High school, in partnership with the Sayre Recreation Center and the Tabernacle Lutheran Church located in West Philadelphia. We could hold this event at the high school cafeteria with support of Brother Russell, Brother Jeff, and Sister Tanya Thompson.
ACLC of Pennsylvania experienced our biggest turn out ever of 33 participants. At the beginning of the program, Brother Jeff gave report on the Father’s Initiative conference held at the Sayre Recreation Center a few weeks ago, followed by a powerful presentation by Bishop Jesse Edwards. Mr. and Mrs. Sayre gave a short presentation on the Discover Me Character Ed Curriculum. After the presentation, a few representatives from various local organizations talked about their exciting upcoming programs and conferences to empower the community. Finally several pastors received Peace Flags.
Reverend Moses volunteered to host the next Prayer Breakfast and several ministers expressed their strong interest to hold a seminar at their church.
