Dear Family,

Our hearts go out to all the families in Southern California who are evacuated and are in great suffering due to the enormous loss of property and displacement of hundreds of thousands of people. The fires in Southern California have destroyed more than 1,800 homes.

Rev. Henning, the District Director for the S. California district informed me that most of the families that are part of the Family Church and many of our Ambassadors for Peace and Clergy have suffered great loss. Most if not all are evacuated.

Some of the ACLC Clergy have lost their churches and their homes.

We ask all members of the Family Federation to offer assistance in any way to support the families there. This is the biggest national disaster since Katrina.

We will be informing you of Disaster Relief Efforts which you can help with if you would like to go there and volunteer.

We would like to create a California Disaster Relief Fund to offer assistance to our members and Ambassadors for Peace.
