July 4th - The Founding Principle Of Our Nation

Dear Family,

On July 4th we celebrated our nation's birthday which is marked by the "founding principle" - "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness".

This founding principle defines our nation as a nation that is rooted in God and that our rights do not come from men but from God.

It is this fundamental principle that causes America to stand apart from other nations. It is the basis for America to have Godly compassion for all faiths and races. However this compassion and understanding has been continuously strengthened through various people of conscience and faith who stood up to call the nation back to its founding principle.

Now the Global Peace Festival is calling America back to the spirit of this founding principle, so that America can live out the true meaning of its creed.
