Global Peace Festival Kickoff to be held on August 9th at the U.S. Capitol

Dear Leaders and families,

This is to once again confirm that the Global Peace Festival Kickoff program will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol. This will be the culmination of a summer of service and education with over 100 partners who affirm Faith in God as the basis for good families and peace.

This is the beginning of an historic movement that is to lift up the founding principles of America that were first written in the Declaration of Independence. We will continue to build our movement toward another Festival in October in which we expand the culture of peace and service based on the theme that we are all "One Family Under God."

We are grateful to God for this historic opportunity to inspire America to live out the full meaning of its creed. We ask all blessed central families of all generations to do all you can to support this festival.
