The Words of the Jenkins Family

Plan for April 27th clergy blessing

Michael Jenkins
February 7, 2002

Dear Leaders,

True Parents returned on Sunday, February 3 to East Garden. Father emphasized the self-sufficiency of each nation and the dispensational importance for the Elder Son Nation to achieve the 144,000 couple blessing. It is deeply connected with the victory of the Coronation Ceremony for God's Kingship and a condition for the Elder Son Nation to stand as a secure foundation centered on Christianity.

Father mentioned at Hoon Dok Hae on Monday and Tuesday that the 144,000 couple blessing has great providential significance. He has asked us to form a Blessing Committee centering on Family Federation composed of all North American organizations. FFWPU, AFC, WFWP, CARP and all organizations and leaders should form a blessing committee centering on the Regional Director in each state and the Continental director and FFWPU President national.

The Blessing will be held for top level Christian clergy, leaders of other faiths and diplomats and elected officials. Young Christian couples or people of all faiths are welcomed.

The goal is to achieve 144,000 clergy couple blessings through a process of pre-blessings in churches or other organizations or our own True Family Values seminars over the next 80 days until April 27th.

Our effort should be through the ACLCJ.on, which is setting up prayer breakfasts, luncheons, revivals and many other meetings in all 50 states. National Evangelists Bishop Stallings, Pastor Barrett, Rev. Leroy Elliot, Rev. E.V. Hill, Rev. Wyatt Tee Walker, Rev. Jesse Edwards, Bishop on, which is setting up prayer breakfasts, luncheons, revivals and many other meetings in all 50 states. National Evangelists Bishop Stallings, Pastor Barrett, Rev. Leroy Elliot, Rev. E.V. Hill, Rev. Wyatt Tee Walker, Rev. Jesse Edwards, Bishop J. and many others will travel extensively with Rev. Jenkins and Rev. Daugherty.

Father said that a key to the blessing is the proper use of the mass media. Rev. Schanker will head public affairs and communications. We will aggressively seek proactive and positive media coverage for major events leading up to the blessing. Several spokespersons will be designated. At this time the spokespersons are Rev. Jenkins, Bishop Stallings, Rev. and Mrs. Olson and Rev. and Mrs. Edwards.

The theme is "We Will Stand for Marriage to save the nation and world." The main event will be 700 couples in Washington D.C. in the Sheraton National Hotel with a similar format to the 60 couple blessing. The Blessing will feature Prayers of Blessing from the world's major religious leaders. The attire will be white dresses for Women and Black Tuxedos for the men. Traditional wedding garments from each participant's nationality, race, or faith experience are welcome.

Though the Christian clergy will be the primary focus, all religious leaders are welcome. Youth couples are also encouraged to participate.

True Family Values teaching will be the main format for education.

The first objective is to have 14,400 clergy attend a True Family Values prayer breakfast or luncheon by March 15. We should begin blessing couples immediately.

Father told Bishop Stallings he should become crazy to give the blessing. Last night he blessed 12 ministers who all took their Holy Wine home to give to their spouses. The National evangelists of ACLC will be traveling extensively to support this education. Headquarters will cover their transportation and honoraria. The regions must cover their room and board and small love offerings from the local community. Schedule all requests for one of the national evangelists through Rachel Carter at 202 319-3200. Schedules made from this point on will not be recognized unless Rachel has recorded them.

Video tapes and testimonies are being filmed this week concerning why churches should hold the blessing in their church. We are documenting the testimonies of over 22 couples who have been reunited based on Pastor Barrett's testimony. We would like these 14,400 pastors to hold a blessing in their church during or at the end of their Sunday service. We would like the pastor to invite 10 or more couples to receive the blessing.

Father said that the "power" of the blessing to overcome evil is absolute if properly cultivated through Hoon Dok Hae.

We reported to Father yesterday about the Florida seminar for top ACLC clergy. We used Mrs. Eu's format which has now been converted to PowerPoint. Father said if you keep reading the principle over and over again to the pastors the spirit world and ancestors connected to them will guide them automatically on the right path.

A national directive will follow with details will follow.

Thanks, America.
