Dear Family,

Over 400 Pastors have signed the affirmation to "end the era of the cross". Our goal is 1200. This will be achieved very soon. We would like to present as many as names of pastors as possible to the press for the November 17th theological conference on the "Cross Reconsidered - Historical and Theological Perspectives".

The conference is co-sponsored by the ACLC and the Biblical Institute for Social Change (led by Dr. Cain Hope Felder of Howard Divinity School). Dr. Lonnie McLeod of New York Theological Seminary is a key speaker and organizer.

Please understand how important it is now to strengthen and support these courageous leaders who will be addressing this issue before the press. It is very important that every member who is working with "One Family, One Church" gives their heart and attention to this condition at this time. Please, as much as possible use tomorrow's Sunday Services to visit the ACLC churches and have the pastor, asst. Pastor and other clergy sign. Then send your forms to your regional Headquarters.

Also, email and / or fax the form to the clergy and have them sign and fax it back.

We are getting a tremendous response from this. Rev. Tom Cutts just sent and encouraging response from a pastor he emailed this to. Pastor Mike from Georgia from a major church responded as follows:
