Dear Family,

Dr. Chang Shik Yang and I want to convey our deepest gratitude to our American Blessed Families and all members. We wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving. We sincerely pray for our troops in the Middle East and throughout the world. We thank God for the miracle of True Parents world tour and the developments towards peace in the Middle East.

We give thanks on this day for the Pilgrims, the Indians and all who participated in developing the founding spirit of this great Nation. We thank God for General Washington and those who gave their lives, fortunes and sacred honor to secure the self evident truths. We thank God for the Black people of America who broke the chains of racism and slavery through faith in God.

As we go forward into the 6th year of Cheon Il Guk we can feel that a new generation of American Patriots are assembling from all denominations and races with one heart to lift America as the Elder Son nation to be a light of equality, justice and freedom to all of the world.

The impact of our American delegation of Ambassadors for Peace and Religious Leaders in the Middle East on this last trip was great. Americans from all faiths and races as well as Native Americans marched from the Radisson in Amman to the Hyatt. (two of the three hotels that were bombed on 11 / 9 ). When we signed the "Wall of Condolences" that listed those who had died in the terrorist attack Amman was moved. Jordanian TV broadcast this signing widely. The response of the people there was one of gratitude and heart. Through this process the goodness America was demonstrated once again. Rev. Walter Fauntroy, involking the spirit of the victory of Dr. King's movement, proclaimed in Amman that he was reminded of the oppressors who bombed a Baptist church in Birmingham in which four little girls going to Sunday school were killed. At that time many were afraid and felt that all should just be quiet and not provoke the violent brutal oppressors. Others felt that the only way to deal with such brutality was to pick up arms and fight.

However, Rev. Fauntroy reminded us that when God's people came together and marched in Birmingham with a reliance on Divine power and intervention, the bombings were stopped. They marched with love for all. Not with hate and anger, but with love and determination to stop evil. The oppressors were neutralized not by their own methods but by God's power. 120 Americans with our Jordanian Muslim brothers and sisters marched together from hotel to hotel where the bombings occurred.

As many Shiekhs and key religious leaders as well as representatives of civil society joined us on the streets of Amman we could experience unity of God's people (Muslim, Christians, Jews and all believers). We were encouraged in our spirit and now more firmly believe and know that faith in God's power the violent oppressors will lose their power and spirit and will be overcome. From Birmingham to Amman, our struggle remains the same. Ambassador Sam Zakhem joined with Archbishop Stallings, Rev. Jesse Edwards and Senator Donzella James in affirming our faith that love and truth will prevail.

A new body of Patriotic Americans called Ambassadors for Peace are now assembling to invoke a new power from heaven, a new Abel United Nations backed by a new America is rising to bring down the power of heaven in every hot spot of the world. This movement will neutralize the ideology, thought and power of those do not have the benefit of the whole in mind.

We take comfort in the fact that General MacArthur's historic call at the end of WWII is finally being answered. A new day has dawned for all nations of the world. We shall overcome!!!

Men since the beginning of time have sought peace. Various methods through the ages have been attempted to devise an international process to prevent or settle disputes between nations. From the very start workable methods were found in so far as individual citizens were concerned, but the mechanics of an instrumentality of larger international scope have never been successful. Military alliances, balances of power, leagues of nations, all in turn failed, leaving the only path to be by way of the crucible of war. The utter destructiveness of war now blocks out this alternative. We have had our last chance. If we will not devise some greater and more equitable system, our Armageddon will be at our door. The problem basically is theological and involves a spiritual recrudescence, an improvement of human character that will synchronize with our almost matchless advances in science, art, literature, and all material and cultural developments of the past two thousand years. It must be of the spirit if it is to save the flesh.

The Ambassadors for Peace is the main movement in the world that is proclaiming a joint declaration of this spiritual recrudescence. With this affirmation and proclamation of truth and love, we are now providing a light around which the true believers of the Abrahamic faiths can assemble and cooperate to nullify the voices of violence and hate. We will continue to march in Jerusalem, Gaza, Ramallah and Amman. Soon we envision a non violent march from Seoul to Pyong Yang, North Korea. Not with war but with the heart to reconcile and end the age of war. Let God's great light shine.

America's role is so important. Let us give thanks on this Thanksgiving that God has protected America and seen her through her internal and external trials. We must revive this nation and the spirit of the self evident truths. We must go forward as the Elder Son Nation to heal this world.

We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men ((all - Muslims, Jews, all races - all) are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness. --That to secure these rights, Governments are instituted among Men,
