Linda had one of the worst cases of cancer and had to have a lot of her intestinal tract removed. She is one half of the way through her radiation treatment and by January first she should be finished with the radiation treatment. Then she will go through Chemotherapy. At the present she has applied for Medicaid, but it will be at least 2 to 3 months before she will know their answer. She has only $700 a month retirement coming in and that is too much for Medicaid, but maybe because she has cancer it will be a special case. Otherwise they will treat her and she will own many, many thousands. Her problem right now is her rent, which is $1, 200 a month, of which she has only recently paid $300 down on it for December. She has been getting some food from a food pantry, but not such healthy stuff, but food and if anyone brings something by. So if anyone would like to help her out by sending a little money, whatever you can afford, to her address.
