Dear Brothers and Sisters,

We received news that Mr. Kazuo Imai has made the transition into the spirit world. He and his wife Harumi were traveling in Japan to his hometown. Kazuo had been battling liver disease for the past few years. On December 20th at 7:30 PM he suddenly collapsed. They rushed him to the hospital. His liver had failed and ruptured. He transcended at 8:18 p.m. Japanese time.

The Imai's were a foundational part of our community for the last 15 years. They set a wonderful standard of faith as live in caretakers at our Columbia Rd. Church during the 1990's. The Imai's are part of the 6,000 couple Blessing in 1982.

Mr. Imai is well known as always willing to give all his energy to serve the many and varied activities associated with our ever changing and expanding community of faith in the Washington, DC region. Please include this couple in your prayers.

Kazuo's Sueng Hwa Ceremony will be held on December 22nd at the Kagamihara Church in Gifu prefecture. Harumi will be staying in Japan for a while after the Sueng Hwa.
