How Did I See The Principle Apply To My Life

I came to understand how the Principle relates to my life during the past a few months of STF. Before I came to STF, I used to think of the DP as just a part of our beliefs in the Unification Church, and I didn't see how our church and the Principle could connect to all other religions and beliefs in the world. I thought there was our church, other churches and we each had our own different separate beliefs but ours was the truth.
Then in the 21 days workshop, the theme was about "how the Principle applies to my life"; and that was the first time I ever thought about the Principle being something you could practice. I had always thought it was just something you knew, a philosophy that explained the truth about how God desired the universe to work. But even when I realized that the Principle was something to be lived and practiced I still thought of it in the scope of something that we need do as church members. So while fundraising, I could try to practice the Principle and God's words to HDH but it was a struggle. Then one day during HDH, True Father was talking about his life and how people aren't moved by True Father because of what he says and his philosophy but because he's a man of his words and lives the Principle. And then he said about the Principle it's not some philosophy, it's the way we are all supposed to live, it's natural the way the world is supposed to be. In hearing this I realized that the Principle isn't only a way to live in our church but everyone should live this way, it's in nature. It's the basis of the creation of the world, after I realized this, I could see the Principle in the outside world and even see how outside people practiced the Principle. Once I realized that the Principle applied to every one's lives, it helped me better see the Principle in my own life. And I could breakthrough on use and practice God's words on the frontline.
Also, visiting church was a great experiences, one of the things I thought was really great about it was visiting churches and meeting with 2nd gens from different states that I probably would've ever met otherwise. Also the 2nd gen at the churches said the same thing about how it was nice to see and meet other BCs outside of their community. It was such a cool experience for me and I think for them too, that even though we were from different places we could still connect and relate as 2nd gen. I think its' experiences like this that make our movement closer and more united. Also, visiting the churches helped me develop an elder sister heart toward the younger BCs, even though I just met them. I cared about them so much, and I realized the importance of older 2nd gen helping younger 2nd gen
