First of all, thanks to the European Second Generation Department for a very well organized and even better executed gathering of around 270 parents and children from all over the world. Based on the excellent preparation and inspiring program an uplifting atmosphere was maintained throughout the duration of the entire workshop.

For us, not living close to any other blessed family - meeting many other blessed members - parents and children - was a real treat.

Second - it was wonderful to see the inspired STF Europe members. The Second Generation is going the way their parents went, which makes them understand their parents and enables them to inherit their parents' heart. They go through similar struggles voluntarily and gain valuable life experience. It was so pleasing to see them sing - with vigor - the very same songs we did 25 years ago. It was good to hear testimonies from the STF Europe members which often reminded me of situations I had to face myself. In this joyful atmosphere happy laughter was often heard.

Third - the various lectures gave inspiration to all participants. Pres. Song, Siegfried Klammsteiner and Mr. Hashimoto expounded on various topics, providing valuable insights and inspiration. Quite often the comment was heard: I wish I would have known that years ago ... After each lecture we met in discussion groups - made up of parents and children - to listen to the viewpoints of others and share one's own on the contents of the lectures and related issues.

Fourth - the atmosphere was very conducive for communication between parents and children, parents and parents and of course, the young adults among themselves. We enjoyed the free time after lunch to go for walks with our son Konrad and could freely share what we felt, learnt, longed and hoped for.

Fifth - STF is an excellent and unsurpassed training program for our blessed children to develop their relationship with God and True Parents, deepen their faith, strengthen their character and gain invaluable experiences which will benefit them for the rest of their lives. It was so wonderful to see them joyfully communicating with ease amongst each other while maintaining a high standard.

Sixth - just meeting members whom I hadn't seen for more than 20 years, rehashing past memories, sharing life's highlights since meeting last and listening to future plans, was very inspiring and made time fly.

Seventh - it gave me inspiration and incentive to be more actively involved in public oriented activities despite a heavy business schedule. Hearing from other blessed families about their family life and activities and involvement within their communities was a great inspiration to me.

Eighth - In conclusion - I can only recommend to all blessed families with teenagers to take the time and participate in such a workshop. Since this Workshop was also called a "Blessing Preparation Workshop" I can only say that it was a blessing to participate and made me more aware of God's continuing blessing upon all of us.
