RE: Upcoming Blessing on July 6th in Korea Dear Blessed Families,

Hyung Jin Nim will officiate a Blessing Ceremony on July 6th, 2008 in Korea for the 1st and 2nd Generation who have already been matched.

Not only Korean matched 2nd Generation couples, but also international 2nd Generation couples who were matched by their parents will be able to attend the Blessing.

Any matched members of the 2nd Generation from North America who wish to participate in this ceremony must register with the BC Blessing Department by emailing Rev. Inguk Seo, and submit all application material by June 23rd.

All couples should arrive in Korea by the evening of the 5th of July. Following the Blessing ceremony, from the 7th of July through the evening of the 8th we will have a short WS for Blessed 2nd generation in Korea in English. All Blessed couples are welcome to attend.

More details will be announced soon. To register, please review the information below and submit all documents by June 23rd:

1. Date of the Blessing Ceremony: Sunday, July 6th, 2008

2. Where/When to Arrive for the Blessing: Korea, by July 5th, 2008

3. Transportation and Lodging Information: Still to be announced

4. Deadline for Application: June 23rd, 2008

5. Blessing Rings: Can be pre-purchased in America at the Japanese Publications Store at 4 West 43rd St. in New York City. Also, we expect that rings of different qualities and costs will be available in Korea.

1) Application form
2) Family Introduction
3) Interview form
4) Matching Report
5) Blessing fee receipt
6) Certificate of Blessing Workshop
7) Two 8 x 10 photos- one full length, one head and shoulders
8) HIV/AIDS test

7. Blessing Fee [more than an administrative fee- an historical condition] The standard Blessing fee is $1,500. per candidate for those traveling to Korea, or $500 for Re-Blessing applicants who paid previous fees in full. (Please use ‘Blessing fee payment form’ at bcblessing.familyfed.org)

8. 7 Day Fast 7 day fast should be done by all participants before the Blessing.
