Dear Blessed Families,
Let us all put our hands together in sincere prayer for the healing and protection of Mrs. Julia Kim. She is currently confined at Room 205 of Cheongshim Hospital in Chung Pyung for her life-threatening condition of pain and illness related to her blood cancer or leukemia.
Mrs. Julia Kim served as co-continental director for UM Asia for a long time. During her time together with Rev. Dr. Christopher Pyung Hwa Kim, she worked hard and witnessed the transition of the Philippine and Asian movement from a medium -- sized organization with select VIP connections to a movement that touched the spirit of the Filipino nation. Even though the persecution in the Philippines hit its disastrous peak in the last part of the 1990s, she was able to turn that negative tide around by talking and witnessing to popular media men, lawyers, generals and religious men of conscience with the passionate assistance of some of our best members in the church.
She brought and educated famous journalists and VIPs to Alaska, US and Korea so they could personally witness to the substantial and positive peace foundation of the world movement. Famous people like Yen Makabenta, Neil Soliven, Teddy Boy Locsin, police and military generals and a few more VIPs joined the cause of defending our movement due to Mrs. Kim's absolute love, faith and obedience to True Parents. She cried in front of Yen Makabenta (a famous journalist connected to the Philippine Star, Malaya and other newspapers) in his office to persuade him to defend the man of faith she loved so much, our True Father.
It was during her time that the initial big foundations of the Philippine movement were bought or constructed. It was also during her time when the Philippine Movement of Filipino blessed members in Japan was organized.
Old members know her particularly and fondly call her Omma. Let us all pray for her life and for all the love, the good things she has done and has given us.
Let us all bow our heads in solemn prayer for her safety, health, recovery and full happiness with God and True Parents!! Aju!

Dear Philippine Brothers and Sisters in Japan,
Our dearly beloved, Mrs. Julia Kim, is currently undergoing special care and treatment at Room 508 of Cheongshim Hospital in, Korea. Her immune system is low. Anyone visiting her is required to sanitize their hands and wear masks.
