Anyonghaseyo, dear brothers and sisters!
Here again some inspiration, based on the words of True Father and Heung Jin Nim:
True Father: "I don't look at you from the standpoint of success or failure of your task, but centered on your motivation of heart. It is important whether your motivation is self centred or God-centred. When your standard of heart is the same as God's, all problems will be solved." [1]
Wow! What True Father wants to see is that we inherit the standard of God's heart.
What is that standard of heart?.
True Father: "If you are ready to receive NOTHING in return then you become like God, because God is always giving out love with His whole being, getting nothing in return. That is the point where godliness starts." [2]
Mansei! Divine love invests and forgets and keeps investing, no matter what the response may be. The investing never stops. Never!
And this investing, of course, includes the "enemy", people who hate us, do not like us, do not appreciate us, look down on us and so on.
True Father: "I want to embrace the entire world and every kind of person, even the MOST DISAGREEABLE ones." [3]
Even the most disagreeable ones! That is what divine love is all about. It is the highest quality of love.
True Father: "The more you invest, the more true love grows. Therefore we should model ourselves upon God. Even if we are rejected, we should love more. Even if we invested everything we have, we should continue to invest until we can make our enemy voluntarily surrender. Heavenly Father walked such a path and the Parents of Heaven and Earth have walked such a path."[4]
And they want us to walk the very same path. As we do that, our heart grows and grows, our love grows and grows. And we will have an impact on the world:
True Father: "If you have such great love that you can love even your enemy, that power will melt everything. God needs a movement that can melt the wrong world down and change it into the right one." [5]
Loving even the enemy unconditionally, has the greatest power of all.
As the quality of our love reaches higher and higher levels, then indeed nothing can stand in our way:
True Father: "Even when the entire world is thrown into confusion, if your love does not change, or if you choose the path of loving others for their sake, then you can always be in control of any situation. Nothing can stand in your way." [6]
And the world changes, if we love the "enemy" with divine love:
True Father: "When people oppose me, I take the attitude that they do so because I could not carry out what I wanted to do and give them more love. Because I could not achieve what I had pledged – to love people before God -- and because I could not prepare the right position for them they persecute me so loudly. But I love them even though I am persecuted. When I do this, THE WORLD CHANGES." [7]
Aju and Amen! Divine love is indeed the key for building God's Kingdom. Father has used the power of loving the enemy all his life.
True Father: "When I reflect upon my life, totally committed for the sake of humankind, I can testify that it truly has been a path of opposition from the billions of evil satanic forces in both the invisible and visible worlds, from numerous religious leaders, and from many governments. Yet because I have been living for their sake, I came to be their center." [8]
We can do the same thing if we revolutionize our hearts in the ways of God's love. By doing this we will develop God's heart in ourselves.
True Father: "We must find the original heart; that is more crucial than anything. If we focus on the heart, we can go beyond anything in the world. If we don't go this way, everything will be burned." [East Garden, 15.10.2004]
Truly, truly, heart and love are the way go go if we want to win the world for God!
True Father: "Everything can be burned up or washed away but because of you, there is a seed of hope on the earth. This seed will perpetuate and become like a tremendous vine, growing forever and ever. No power exists which can stop this hope. The roots of a tree can penetrate even a huge rock; in exactly the same way, the power of love will grow and take root over the whole earth." [8]
Heung Jin Nim: "Everywhere you go you must create the Kingdom of Heaven just as our Father does. I will be with you. The whole spirit world will be with you. The Kingdom of Heaven is in you, and you must let it out... Please ask me to come with you every moment. Ask constantly!" [9]
