Anyonghaseyo, dear brothers and sisters!
Here again an inspiration based on the words of True Family:
True Father: "If you have such great love that you can love even your enemy, that power will melt everything. God needs a movement that can melt the wrong world down and change it into the right one." [1]
Evil's ugly face can be seen in many places. People in general only know to "solve" conflicts by fighting. But that creates even more evil and solves nothing.
How then can the ideal world of God come about, even if evil is so rampant? It can only come about by a power that is strong enough to bring evil to natural surrender, a power that "melts" evil. That power is divine love, which can love even the greatest and fiercest enemy. That power is the strongest power in the universe. That power can and will change the world, if it is applied.
True Father: "When people oppose me, I take the attitude that they do so because I could not carry out what I wanted to do and give them more love. Because I could not achieve what I had pledged – to love people before God -- and because I could not prepare the right position for them they persecute me so loudly. But I love them even though I am persecuted. When I do this, the world changes. " [2]
This does not only work for True Father. Anyone who loves their enemy as Father does, makes a huge impact on the world, on the providence:
True Father: " When a person has the power to even love his enemies, he [she] is truly a giant and there is nothing he [she] cannot deal with or embrace. Ultimately that person shall conquer the world in Gods way.. [1]
Even if we have not yet fully developed the heart that can love the unlovable, God wants us to get there. And we have certainly the potential in our heart. It is just a matter of focusing on it, training our heart and bringing all our potential to the surface.
True Father: "Even though you are persecuted by all of this world, which is the realm of the enemy, you must love the evildoer WITH YOUR WHOLE HEART. That is the condition you have to fulfill. God is MOST CONCERNED about that condition... it is the very boundary line between God and Satan. No one has understood this before. In order to go beyond this boundary, God cannot even regard His enemy as an enemy, and He must not take revenge. The conclusion is to love our enemy." [3]
Only by us striving to love the unlovable can we become the movement that melts down evil. It starts with ourselves, it starts with "me":
True Mother: "We can change the world, beginning with me, beginning with us. Now the world is calling for a true youth movement that opens up a new future. If you respond to Heaven's call and fulfill your responsibility, you will become heroes remembered in history.... Will you rise as heroes that move history?" [4]
Those of us who have advanced in years do not need to worry. We are all included in this true youth movement, as long as we fulfill the criteria. The criteria is to have a vision, a dream that is in line with God's dream, and to invest to make it a reality, no matter what. The person who lives this way, is young. Someone may be 20 years old but surrendering to the fallen world. Such a person is old:
True Mother: "Age [number of years] cannot be a standard for youth." [4]
The number of years are not important when it comes to defining youth; what is important is the content of our heart. An 80 year old person can be very young. True Father and True Mother, no matter how much they advanced in age, were/are the youngest people on this earth, simply because of their vision, their heart of divine love, their unending dedication and gratitude:
True Mother: "My husband and I have forgiven the unforgivable and, for the sake of humanity, loved enemies unlovable... No matter how unjust the persecution we receive, we do not blame anyone, rather we love them. When we overcome ordeals in this manner, blessings that we could not even imagine took place." [4]
True Mother wants us to love in the same way:
True Mother: "We must live a life of forgiveness... When you forgive the sins of others, amazing blessings are given to us from Heaven." [4]
Such forgiveness is part of divine love. Without such forgiveness we cannot talk about divine love.
True Mother: "Gratitude brings about heavenly fortune, and forgiveness opens our hearts to all people, and love moves people's hearts. Let us all be grateful for everything, forgive our enemies, love our neighbours."
What kind of love is Mother talking about? Absolute true love:
True Mother: "We should live a life of absolute true love. True love is a love by which we continuously live for others, investing in others and forgetting we have done so." [4]
Reminds us very much of what True Father kept saying all his life:
True Father: "Give love and forget that you gave it." [5]
And such love loves of course good and bad alike.
By moving in that direction we certainly are part of the true youth movement that will change the world, based on divine love. Then God surely has the movement He needs, the movement that can melt the wrong world down and change it into the right one, the ideal world, the world that God and all people long for.
The more our love resembles the love of God, the more we can move and penetrate history:
True Father: "Isn't the backbone of everything love? An eternal, unchanging love, unique love? Love that can move history? Love that penetrates history instead of being punished by history? Do you desire such a love? Don't you want it?" [6]
We need to become owners of such a love, and we all have the ability to get there. We only have to believe in our potential and then work on activating it.
True Father, Heung Jin Nim and Jesus are there to help us in this process, if we ask them for help. We need to remember that.
