Anyonghaseyo, dear brothers and sisters!
Here again some inspiration, based on the words of True Family:
True Father: "When I reflect upon my life, totally committed for the sake of humankind, I can testify that it truly has been a path of opposition from the billions of evil satanic forces in both the invisible and visible worlds, from numerous religious leaders, and from many governments. Yet because I have been living for their sake, I came to be their center." [1]
True Father loved even those who came against him. This kind of unchanging and unconditional love, even for hostile people, is the key for victory and greatest blessing. That quality of love brings God's power into action and makes the devil run with high speed:
True Father: "In God's world, we love even the enemy and we never retaliate against others. When we love even our enemy, Satan must run away because he has no foundation to claim anything as his own."[2]
True Parents always lived and live in such a way, God's way:
True Father: "What remains to be done is to take care of your enemy. When he is sick you should care for him. When he is hungry, then feed him. When I was in Danbury, I really liked them all. When people curse me, I just forget it." [3]
Instead of cursing them back, True Father loved them. That is the divine way. That is the way of God and True Parents. It is the highroad to victory:
True Mother: "My husband and I have forgiven the unforgivable and, for the sake of humanity, loved enemies unlovable... No matter how unjust the persecution we receive, we do not blame anyone, rather we love them. When we overcame ordeals in this manner, blessings that we could not even imagine took place." [4]
No wonder! Divine love has such a power! And the amazing thing is that we all have this incredible power in our heart. We, however, need to bring it out. Otherwise it will remain dormant. We have to make sure that it gets actualized and bears the utmost fruit in our life. To become able to love the way God does is the purpose of our life:
True Father: "The purpose of life is to occupy the love of God. If you do not occupy the love of God, even if you think you have achieved all your hopes, you have not achieved anything." [5]
On the other hand, as we occupy the love of God, which means to become able to love the way God does, then nothing can stand in our way:
True Father:" Even when the entire world is thrown into confusion, if your love does not change, or if you choose the path of loving others for their sake, then you can always be in control of any situation. Nothing can stand in your way." [6]
Nothing can stand in our way if we keep loving people no matter how they behave and respond. And we become the people that God can be proud of, people of greatest filial piety:
True Father: "The one who invests everything for the sake of others and forgets about it, repeating the same action over and over, will become the central being, a standard bearer for the sake of the whole, and the greatest among all people of filial piety." [1]
This is because love has supreme value:
True Father: "Love holds supreme value. Once you have true love, even God will follow you, the world will follow you, everyone will follow you. Once you stand in love's place of honor, all creation will follow you." [7]
The more we can love the way God does, the more we are actually representing God and True Parents, not only in name, but in substance. And liberation can come to the whole world:
True Father: "Liberation comes to our world only when you members truly represent God and the True Parents to the rest of the world. When people in the secular world come into contact with you, they are actually contacting the True Parents and God; thus salvation can come to them. Their original minds, like antennae, are pulled toward you." [8]
God and True Parents want us to become true representatives, people who can love everyone:
True Father: "As members of the Unification Church, we must love everybody. First we must love our enemies, whether some personal enemy or some enemy on the family level. We must love them more than anybody else... Otherwise we cannot go to Heaven because Heaven will reject us."[9]
And God and True Parents want us to reach the highest levels of love fast:
True Father: "Heaven is where you embrace everyone. It should not take our whole life to accomplish. If you do it in 10 years, God will embrace you and say, "You are my child, I will serve you." [10]
It should not take a whole lifetime! It all depends on how much we focus on it and how much we keep asking for the help of True Father, Heung Jin Nim and Jesus:
Heung Jin Nim: "I will teach you how to love. I am the professor of love. I will teach you how to love. If you ask me, I will teach you. But if you do not ask, I will not come." [11]
We need to ask the great experts of love. No point to shy away from this:
Heung Jin Nim: "...a smart person, a responsible person, seeks the help that he [she] needs to do the job that he [she] says he [she] will do." [12]
There is nothing wrong with asking for help, on the contrary. It is a very smart thing to do if we want to get to the goal of occupying the love of God as fast as possible.
