The Words of the Otsuka Family |
Let's be a person that can say "I am in Him, and He is in Me"
We received Dr. Katsumi Otsuka last Sunday, July 1, 2012, as special speaker for IFA members. So many years have passed since I received Sunday Service through him. His message was so straight and so clear, but I felt that it is not easy to say what he spoke to us.
He is a really special person to Philippine families because he has supported, so much, the Philippine community who stay in Japan. Without his warm and big heart we couldn't continue our mission here in Japan.
Anyway, I just want to share what, I feel, Heavenly Father wanted to speak to us through him. The following are some of the key points that I embedded in my heart from his speech.
Dr. Otsuka has been given many missions by True Father all throughout the world. Each time, he totally accepted True Father's direction with absolute faith and obedience. True Father asked him several times if he had prepared his burial ground in his mission area. He said, He had no money to buy this land! Then he thought, wow, father is trying to kill me!! So, everywhere he was and whatever he was given, he really enjoyed his mission from the bottom of his heart. Because of this, he feels, he never died and even Satan couldn't touch him at all. He never complained and always made utmost efforts to accomplish his missions with joy. I know for sure that he will enjoy his new mission in Africa and he will be a better singer and dancer more than the African brothers by the time he will be back to Japan again.
He also mentioned that we should develop "happy-happy relationships" like "win-win relationships". God created us to feel happiness through us, so we have such nature in us that we want to make others happy first and enjoy watching them that they are happy and that makes us happier. If somebody in our family is not happy, of course we are not happy. So we need to make others happy before we feel happy.
When we receive our mission by True Father, we are required to receive it with absolute faith like Dr. Otsuka. Through that kind of attitude, we can grow our heart more and can be a person like True Father little by little…
Sometime in the future, I would like to say like what True Father says, "I am in Him, and He is in me!" This will be our tribe's motto to all our descendants!
