The special matching and Blessing by True Parents of 2^nd generation couples which was announced and tentatively planned to be held in connection with their birthday celebration on January 27^th, 2004 in Korea has been postponed indefinitely.

There has been no specific announcement or information about when or if this matching will take place in the future. Therefore, unless we receive a different direction, we intend to keep all applications securely and privately on file in the Blessing Department in Washington, DC. Any future call for such a matching or Blessing will be announced to the membership immediately, and we will call for applications at that time, according to the guidelines announced. We will only resubmit existing applications based upon the request or approval of the applicant and parents.

It is important to remember that the main Providence for 2^nd Generation Blessing in this Cheon Il Guk era is for parents to take responsibility. We cannot be certain that such a matching by True Parents will take place in the future, and certainly do not recommend that any Blessed Central Family wait for an extended period for such an event to occur as an alternative to the challenge of matching our own children. In the meantime, we will be working to increase FFWPU HQ support for parents to network and find potential candidates, and for youth to learn about the meaning and value of the Blessing, and prepare for it more effectively. Please pray and seek God’s leading as the providence unfolds.
