May the blessings and love of God and the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind be with you.

This memo is to announce the January, 2007, Blessing Workshop for First Generation members. We expect there will be an International Blessing to be held together with the World Culture and Sports Festival in Korea in the summer of 2007. Preparations for matchings are beginning at this time.

This Blessing Workshop will fulfill the requirement for all First Generation that want to be eligible for the next Blessing. Those who have attended past Blessings but did not participate in a Blessing Workshop should attend this one. The main lecturer will be Jim Stephens. There will be Divine Principle and internal guidance regarding the meaning and value of the Blessing. There will be Blessing preparation material to help men and women understand each other better. There will be practical guidance in finding a mate in the Unification tradition.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend, January 12-14, 2007.

Saturday morning, January 13, 2007. 7:30am (breakfast) through Sunday dinner, January 14, 7:00pm. Please arrive early so we can start on time. We suggest you arrive on Friday evening. Rooms are available starting Friday evening. Let us know your arrival time.

All First Generation members who have completed study and accepted the Divine Principle, understand and accept True Parents, and are interested in the possibility of being matched and Blessed.

All First Generation who have already been matched or Blessed but have not attended a previous Blessing Workshop.

All First Generation whose Blessing has broken and wish to be re-Blessed.

All First Generation Blessed members who wish to renew their understanding of the meaning and value of the Blessing and experience the heavenly environment of Barrytown. Blessed Couples are encouraged to attend for a second honeymoon. Private double rooms are available for an additional $10 per night.

Please arrange your own transportation. Due to shortage of staff, we cannot guarantee that rides from public transportation can be available. Please call if you need help.

For those flying to New York, we encourage you to fly into Albany Airport instead of one of the airports near New York City. Transportation is much more convenient although you need to rent a car or carpool. Albany Airport is just 1 hour from UTS.

$120.00. Includes accommodations for two nights and 6 meals from breakfast on Saturday through dinner on Sunday. Also includes coffee breaks and snacks. Meal tickets will be provided at registration.

No discounts for partial attendance.

Two nights is either Friday and Saturday or Saturday and Sunday. Additional nights are $20 each.

You will be staying in the UTS dormitory. Private guest rooms are available for an extra $10 per night. Pillows, sheets, and blankets are provided.

Meals outside of the above schedule may be purchased on an a la carte basis.

The workshop fee can be paid anytime in advance, but upon arrival at the latest. Forms of payment are cash, credit card, debit card, or personal check.
