RE: Blessing Workshop for First Generation Matching Candidates

Greetings brothers and sisters:

May the blessings and love of God and the True Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind be with you.

This memo is to announce the Blessing Workshop for First Generation matching candidates on April 13-15, 2007. It will be held in Los Angeles, probably near LAX. More details coming announced soon.

Preparations for matchings are beginning at this time. We expect there will be an International Blessing to be held together with the World Culture and Sports Festival in Korea, which is July 1 to 11, 2007.

What: This Blessing Workshop will fulfill the requirement for all First Generation that want to be eligible for matching and/or for the next Blessing. (This is not for new members.)

There will be Divine Principle and internal guidance on the Meaning and Value of the Blessing both spiritually and historically. There will be Blessing preparation material to help men and women understand each other better. There will be practical guidance about the matching process that has developed following the Unification tradition.

Our goal is to provide matching recommendations to as many eligible candidates as possible by the end of May.

Those who have attended past Blessings but did not yet participate in a Blessing Workshop, please attend this one.

Date, Time: April 13 - 15, 2007. Friday evening, April 13, 2007. Arrivals by 6:00pm. Concluding around noon on Sunday April 15. Please arrive early so we can start on time. Let us know your arrival time.

Where: Los Angeles area. More details to come soon. Register online to get the email updates.

Who: 1) Participants must have completed a full study of and accepted the Divine Principle. This is not a workshop for non-members. Participants must understand and accept True Parents and be interested in the possibility of being matched and Blessed according to Unification traditions.

2) If you have already been matched or Blessed but have not attended a previous Blessing Workshop, please attend this one.

3) All First Generation with a broken Blessing desiring to be re-Blessed, please attend. You must be single (i.e. divorce finalized) or you cannot be a candidate for matching.

4) Any First Generation Blessed members who wish to renew their understanding of the meaning and value of the Blessing and experience a heavenly workshop environment are encouraged to attend as well. Hearing Divine Principle is always valuable for your spiritual life and spousal relationships. Private double rooms are available.

Fee: $170.00. Includes accommodations for two nights and 4 meals from breakfast on Saturday through breakfast on Sunday. Also includes coffee breaks and snacks. The fee is to cover a room and banquet meals in a hotel near LAX to avoid lengthy travel costs.

No discounts for partial attendance or commuters.

Payment: The workshop fee can be paid anytime, but must be paid IN FULL when you arrive. Forms of payment are cash, credit card, debit card, or personal check.

Cash is preferred in order to help us pay for expenses during the workshop. For your convenience there is a Payment Form on the Internet: (link: Payment Form) Bring this form in order to save time at registration when you arrive at the workshop.

Registration: You must register ON THE INTERNET. Deadline is Tuesday April 10. Register on-line by filling out the on-line registration form. Or print a Registration Form from the Internet (Reg. Form) and fax to us.

Blessing Workshop for First Generation. There will be a Blessing Workshop for all First Generation matching candidates on the weekend of April 13-15, 2007. You are invited if you are a candidate for future matching, a Blessed member who has not yet attended, or a Blessed Couple wishing to renew your commitment to the Blessing.
