Peace Festival
We are happy to announce the first annual National Family Summit of all Unification Blessed Central Families of all generations to be held in Washington D.C. from August 21 -- 23, 2008. We encourage all families who can to take this time to drive from all parts of America and come to Washington for this special summit for the blessed family. All generations are encouraged to join as special sessions will be held for youth and for all age groups. True Parents and True Family are invited to be with us. Dae Mo Nim will also be invited.
Special sessions and activities will be held that will inspire and uplift all generations in the vision and hope of our family and youth movement in the era of realizing heaven on earth (CIG). The culmination of our "Family Summit" will be to participate in the Global Peace Festival being held on August 23 in the late afternoon, early evening in front of our nation's Capitol.
What: National “Family Summit” for all Blessed Central Families
When: Thursday, August 21 - 4 pm.
Friday, August 22 - All Day
Saturday, August 23 - 8 am -- 2 pm
Global Peace Festival 4 pm -- 9 pm
Where: To be announced - Thursday thru Saturday (DC area convention center)
Accommodations: Home stay with blessed families or your own arrangements
Please encourage all ages and generations to come. We would like to use this opportunity to launch an annual Summit as a time of celebration and renewal every year for all Blessed families as we walk with True Parents and True Family to build a better world. Planning for the "Family Summit" is just beginning now, and more details will follow. Please take the time for a “drive” with your whole family to Washington D.C. to celebrate the blessed family and move the heart of America.
