RE: UPDATED INFO Regarding True Parents’ Matching and "Gyocha" (Cross-cultural) Blessing, December 29, 2005
A great many more details have been made clear regarding the upcoming "Gyocha" (Cross-cultural) Blessing in Korea. This is a time of grace and opportunity from Heaven. In order to appropriately prepare First and Second Generation participants, please refer to previous memos and pay careful attention to the following developments and adjustments:
I. Blessing Workshops Prior to the Matching and Blessing
All First and Second Generation Unificationist candidates for the Blessing are required to attend an official 2 or 3-day Blessing Workshop at least within 2 years of participating in the matching and Blessing (no more than 2 years prior), regardless of age or previous Blessing experience. A certificate of completion of this education requirement is important in order to register for the Gyocha Matching and Blessing. For those who need to complete this requirement, Blessing Workshops for both First and Second Generation will be held on December 16-18, 2005, in San Francisco, CA and Barrytown, NY. The basic schedule is as follows:
A. East Coast Workshop- UTS, Barrytown, NY. Friday, December 16, 6:30 PM until Sunday, December 18, 2:00 PM
B. West Coast Workshop- Bay Area Family Church, San Leandro, CA (San Francisco-Oakland Area- near Oakland Airport) Friday, December 16, 6:30 PM until Sunday, December 18, 2:00 PM
NOTE: BOTH FIRST AND SECOND GENERATION CANDIDATES MAY ATTEND, AND WILL RECEIVE A CERTIFICATE OF COMPLETION. For those Unificationists who are absolutely unable to participate prior to the matching and Blessing, a letter of commitment should be included with your application, explaining the reason and promising to complete the Blessing Workshop within 6 months and prior to starting family life. For Ambassadors for Peace, ACLC and affiliated applicants, the church or region should educate them well, and they should attend this Blessing Workshop or another to be organized soon after the Blessing. Workshop fees will be under $100. Details follow soon.
II. Important Dates and Schedules for the matching & Blessing
