Dear Blessed Families,

We are happy to announce 2nd Generation Blessing Workshop planned for June, designed for candidates, or any Blessed Child at least 17 years of age who wishes to participate. We would like to invite parents as well to attend the whole workshop with their children.

The details are follows:

A. Workshop place and time

Hickory Run State Park in Lake Harmony, PA.

DATES- Tuesday, June 20th to Friday, June 23rd.

SCHEDULE- Workshop will begin Tuesday evening at 5 PM and end on Friday at approx. 10:00 AM.

LOCATION- Hickory Run State Park is located off I-80 and near I-476. It is approximately 2 hours west of NYC. Log onto //mapquest.com and enter "Hickory Run, PA" to get a map with driving directors from your home to the Park.

For those without internet access, the following directions are to follow once you reach I-80 from wherever you are coming from. Take exit 274 (old exit 41) for "Hickory Run State Park." Take a left turn at the top of the exit ramp and follow the signs for Rt. 534 south. Proceed 1.7 miles to the stop sign and take a left continuing on Rt. 534 south. Proceed 3.4 miles to the Hickory Run Park office (white building on the left). Proceed another 0.6 miles past the Park office and turn left on the road which leads to the campgrounds (look for it on the left. Proceed 0.4 miles and take the left fork to Camp Daddy Allen. Proceed 0.3 miles and take the gravel road into Camp Daddy Allen.

B. Who can attend - Any second generation 17 years and older is invited to attend, and their parents are invited as well.

C. Workshop fee - East Coast: $120.00 per person includes food & accommodations.

D. What to prepare - Clothes and toiletries, pen and notebook and sleeping bags.

E. Program and Presenters- main presenter will be Rev. Phillip Schanker, VP for Education of the FFWPU, with testimonies from elder 2nd Generation couples, some special guest presenters, and lots of time for recreation, discussion and fellowship as well.
