RE: Upcoming Second Generation Blessing Workshops Dear Blessed Families,

Although there has been no matching or Blessing during 2006, we expect that True Parents may match and Bless the second generation in the coming year, perhaps as early as True Parents’ birthday or more certainly by next summer’s World Culture and Sports Festival. In addition, there are many who have been matched by their parents who would like to participate in the next Blessing ceremony.

Second Generation youth who intend to participate in the Blessing ceremony are required to have completed a Blessing Workshop no more than 2 years prior to their Blessing.

Therefore, we are happy to announce two 2nd Generation Blessing Workshops designed for Blessing candidates, those who have been matched by their parents and any Blessed Child 17 years of age or older who wishes to participate. We would like to invite parents as well to attend the whole workshop with their children.

The first workshop will be held in the New York area from January 26-28, 2007 and the second will be held in the San Leandro, CA area from February 2-4, 2007. The details are follows:

A. Workshop Places and Times

East Coast Workshop

UTS in Barrytown, New York

DATES- Friday, January 26th to Sunday, January 28^th

SCHEDULE- Workshop will begin Friday evening at 6 PM and end on Sun. at approx. 3:00pm.

Transportation- Nearest airport is Albany, NY (70 minutes by car). Rent a car from there. New York City airports (Newark, La Guardia & JFK) are 2-3 hours from UTS by car, or take the airport limousine bus to Manhattan, and an Amtrak train north from Penn Station to Rhinecliff, NY. We can pick you up at the Rhinecliff Station if you inform us in advance.

West Coast Workshop

Bay Area Family Church in San Leandro, California

DATES- Friday, February 2nd to Sunday, February 4^th

SCHEDULE- Workshop will begin Friday evening at 6 PM and end on Sun. at approx. 3:00pm

Transportation- The Oakland International Airport is just 15 minutes from the church. We can pick up anyone who lets us know their schedule in advance (Online registration). If flying to San Francisco then take BART train to San Leandro station.

B. Who can attend- 2nd Generation blessing candidates, those who have been matched by their parents or any second generation 17 years and older is invited to attend, and their parents are invited as well.

C. Workshop fee- East Coast: $120 per person, West Coast: $120 per person. Fee includes food & accommodations. Pay by cash, check, money order, or credit card upon arrival. Make checks to "HSA-UWC".

D. What to prepare- Clothes and toiletries, pen and notebook and sleeping bags.

E. Workshop Registration- All participants MUST register IN ADVANCE. Register online at http://www.familyfed.org/bfd/BLWS-regis.html

F. Program and Presenters- main presenter will be Rev. Phillip Schanker, VP for Education of the FFWPU, with testimonies from elder 2nd Generation couples, some special guest presenters, and lots of time for recreation, discussion and fellowship as well.
