4th WACL Conference opens in Japan

Between September 15th and September 20th, 1970 there opened the 4th conference with the presence of delegates from 53 nations, 50 Japanese members of the National Diet, 200 members of the municipal council leading members from various fields and over 3,000 citizens in Kyoto and Tokyo, Japan under the auspices of the International Federation for Victory Over Communism in Japan, with Pastor Nakamura in the chair.

In the conference, delivery of address by Senorita Fuanita Castro, true sister of Fidel Castro in Cuba stood out.

She said that those who were communists were not her brothers and sisters, just like as Fidel Castro, her brother said nobody who is communist was not his real brother.

For raising the fund, all members of International Federation for Victory Over Communism in Japan started campaign in the street and they succeeded in getting signatures of 200,000 people contributing 200 yen each for conference and Mr. Ryoichi Sasakawa, advisor of J-IFVC made a contribution of 20.000.000 yen for the conference. Japanese grand plutocracies promised indirect help to the movement as well as the training the members under their influence. The principal participants were as follows:

and a noted Korean bodhisattva named Yoon Chung Jung Shim prayed for Safety.

At first the Japanese leftists including the League of Korean Residents in Japan started a movement against the conference whereas all the mass-communications were friendly to the conference.
