The Words of the Millar Family |
Hello brothers and sisters working hard for God and True Family!
I wanted to share some experiences that happened today in Fort Worth, Texas. First of all, I gave morning service on "Absolute Faith, Absolute Obedience" about how God works through your central figure. I explained how your attitude and willingness to unite with your team leader / central figure really allows you to have internal and external experiences and breakthroughs. I feel two members were really able to follow through by uniting with my direction, even if they didn't "feel" like it. To help them practice having trust and absolute faith in God and True Parents through uniting with your central figure, I suggested that they do this action step: to ask at least 3 people they didn't want to approach.
I knew this was a difficult action step to unite with, but a very telling test to see their desire to unite with the vertical axial line. First run, Nina Yujiri really put this action step to the test and had great experiences. The first time she approached a man who looked shaggy, almost homeless, and she really didn't want to approach him, but remembered morning service. He told her that he didn't have any money but was surprisingly kind and encouraging by telling her she was brave to ask him. The second person was similar. The third person was in an old, crummy car and looked too poor to buy a sun-catcher. She remembered that she wanted to love all of God's children, whether or not they had money. To her pleasant surprise, he immediately picked one and bought it with ease. By uniting with her team leader by practicing this action step, she was able to see how God and spirit world were able to help her. She also made her run goal that first run.
For the second run, I asked the team to ask three people on the street before going in the next store. Juliannah Vasquez, inspired by her fellow sister/ team member's report, decided to inherit and test this principle as well. She even combined both action steps of approaching three people on the street as well as people she didn't want to approach. She reported that everyone she met on the street was nicer than even the workers in the stores and each time someone at least donated or bought a suncatcher. She also made her run goal.
After setting those good conditions from first run, Nina also experienced God working through people, not only her central figure. Before she even started her second run, a random man said to her, "You're beautiful and blessed. Don't let anyone tell you what you're doing isn't right. Let them know the truth." She was speechless. He then said "have a nice day" and walked away.
Today, our team was really able to see how God works through unity with your central figure, even if you don't understand why they ask you to do difficult things. They were able to understand more deeply how their portion of responsibility is connected to a higher purpose and then spirit world is inspired to help you in your goals. This is excellent practice for when True Parents or True Family ask us to unite with them, although many times it is difficult and may look like a sacrifice, when, in fact, more blessing is able to come to those who can have absolute faith and absolutely follow through with obedience.
Thank you everyone! I hope you can also inherit from this testimony!
