Dear Brothers and Sisters

Greetings in the most precious names of our Eternal Parents of Heaven, Earth and Humankind! May this letter reach you in good health and abundant Blessings!

You must have heard of the changes that took place in our Philippine Unification Church Ministry-Japan (PUCMJ) formerly commando group in Japan. Our Unification Church Philippine leaders together with the New Unification Church Philippine President Mr. Julius Malicdem through the approval of CD Dr. Chung Shik Yong appointed me (yours truly) to take the overall leadership of PUCMJ as Nat'l President. In Tokyo, last 21 of August, we held a turn over ceremony in the presence of 30 members and elder brothers, Rev. Park and Rev. Funami. I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to our outgoing President, Mr. Edgar Nacorda for all the hard work he had invested for God and true Parents during his term.

I have to honestly confess that when my name was proposed for possible recommendation to the leadership, I decline the proposition considering the great responsibility attached to it. Furthermore, I am very much aware of the rocky path that we are going through and the high mountain we have to overcome. I thought, I'd rather do my responsibility as a Blessed Central Family member for God and True Parents.

I cannot forget the words of Rev. Park to me that changed my decision overnight to accept the responsibility. He said "If you believe that leaders are God's representatives and they are putting their trust in you, rejecting their appointment is rejecting GOD in a way." I had some sleepless nights pondering on those words and my response to it. After all, who am I anyway to reject GOD, I am just an ordinary garbage member with inherent flaws.

For the time in many years here in Japan, I began to shade tears in prayer asking for guidance and wisdom from Heavenly father. The small voice inside me and the greater calling that we commonly share when we first encountered the movement has seen the better half in me, finally saw the bitter struggle into a resounding YES to the call of mission.

I know it will not be a smooth sailing experience to re-start after all we've gone through, but somehow we are on a course or a level, where we are all aware we have to work harder. I know I cannot create the miracle on my own and I am asking everyone to give us your full support in this transitional leadership.

Let us all give a change a chance! It is important for us to be aware of our Ideals and our personal relationship to God and True Parents and their expectation of us as Blessed Central Families. If we strongly focus on it, I believe we have much room for the new leadership to touch our hearts and create a dynamic and productive relationship where all of us can participate in the glorious making of 2013.

To those Blessed Families in far places I wish to listen to your stories of heart. I hope to be in touch with you through letters that I hope to send on a timely basis. I hope to quickly re-structure our leadership and administration particularly here in Eastern District and quickly move with the Western and Central District to help improve their structures as well. I hope to deeply understand the overall sentiments of our Blessed Family members here in Japan and be able to represent all of us to the National HQ carrying with us our common sense of pride and dignity. I hope to create programs and activities that benefit our families and children as a growing community of vibrant faith and spirituality.

I hope to touch every conscience and heart in us to be able to have a healthy spiritual relationship with our Church through active engagement as a vitality element for our growth. I hope to create a strong collective network of brothers and sisters that supports tribal mission in our respective hometowns. I hope to create a strong voice of our Filipino Community at the Philippine Embassy and the Japanese Community as a whole that will reflect our Ideals as Blessed Central Families.

I have laid my program and would greatly appreciate your positive feedback and warm response how we all attain these lofty ideals. It is not easy but let us turn the stones anyway, one after the other, one day at a time, and discover the possibilities and miracles ahead of us.

May you join me as we usher a new providential start of PUCMJ to serve as catalyst in realizing Fathers dream for 2013.

Aju!!

Sincerely,

Dante S. Negre
