Re: Japanese Wives Responsibilities
Date: November 19, 2011

Please be informed that Japanese wives can do a lot of things for our church ministry. Hence, it is really up to you to organize your regions, organizations, activities and services. As citizens of our mother country, Japan, they are our greatest resource. They can do any of the following missions in the ministry:

1. Accountant
2. Japanese Wives Hoon Dok Hae Leaders
3. Translation staff officers
4. Secretarial work and related services
5. Wives Work Support Network – help other wives find work
6. Liaisons for Japan Church Activities
7. Other supportive roles and responsibilities for the church ministry.

Article I and II of FINICA Constitution and By-Laws mention the general kinds of activities and policies that can be implemented or adopted to give our affiliated organizations greater room for policy choices and organizational flexibility. It is the prerogative of the regional leaders and council of elders to think of ways to enhance the capacity of anyone in the ministry and adapt to the demands or challenges of their respective situations centering on the Principle. As a group, let us think of other ways to maximize the potential of our Japanese wives and share what we have done so far to the rest of church ministers and members for their own growth and development.

There is no need to put everything in the Constitution and By Laws of the organization. You only need to report the structure you are using in order to carry out certain types of missions and activities together with our Japanese spouses.

Thank you.
