The second workshop of the Divine Principle for members of PWPA and CAUSA in Paraguay was held on July 27-29, in a Hotel in San Bernardino, about 40 km from Asuncion, the capital city of Paraguay.

Ten professors of PWPA and five CAUSA leaders participated in the workshop together with their wives. The former President of PWPA, Dr. Dionisio G. Torres, who was the former Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Paraguay also participated in the Opening Ceremony. On this occasion, he honored Rev. and Mrs. Moon for their work with the Unification Movement and also for this workshop.

Rev. Thomas Field, who is responsible for the southern region of South America, gave Divine Principle lectures on July 27 and 28 from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. On July 29 he talked about Father's course and the Unification Movement. The participants were really inspired hearing so many things about Father's life. For the first time, Father's course was explained officially in Paraguay!

Many of the CAUSA leaders of Paraguay already accept True Father, but through this workshop they could deepen their understanding about Father and the Divine Principle. The President of CAUSA in Paraguay said: "Now I understand why Rev. Moon and the Unification Movement receive so much persecution through understanding the meaning of indemnity."

He also said that he now understands that to be a central figure in the Unification Movement, one cannot be influenced by the society.

Also, the General Secretary of the Catholic University of Villarrica City participated. He is a Professor of Philosophy. In his reflection he wrote that he had never imagined Rev. Moon had gone through such difficult situations.
