Dear Brothers and Sisters,

You are invited to attend a very special Memorial Service for Japanese Missionaries and National Messiahs who have passed into the Spirit World for the sake of their mission in Africa.

The Service will be held at the Shibuya Church from 10:30 on Sunday, 30th June, and the main speaker will be President Furuta of the Japanese Unification Church.

This event has been planned for some time in order to honor Masaki Sasamoto, the first Unification Church Martyr in Tanzania on December 18, 1980, Naoto Tatsumi, (the spouse of our own beloved sister Gamalat) who died in 1989, as well as others who have given the lives for the continent. We feel it is very important for us to know their heart and mission so that they can work joyfully together with Heung Jin Nim in the spiritual world.

The Service will also recognize the thousands of Japanese sisters who have gone to Africa for Unification Church or WFWP missions, or who are married with African brothers, and who have also been through very difficult times.

This is an International event and we hope many IFA members from Africa, with heartistic connections to the continent, and anyone who would like to join the event to honor those who have sacrificed so much to bring our True Parents' love and truth to Africa will attend.

Please attend if you can.

Sincerely,

On behalf of Toshiaki Sasada

Original Missionary to Mauritius, Zambia, and Zimbabwe
