Love is a Decision

Love is a decision we make, as adults. Yet, as a child, not having much of a will of our own, that decision is made for us! However, if we as a growing human being, don't take a hold of that decision, then, we end up a selfish person.

"Love is a decision" may not sound so romantic! Yet, actually it is more than romantic, it is passionate, and it burns through any doubt, hesitation, and rejection.

If we want to love someone, then it is all in our hand. Even if that person rejects us for millions, gazillion, trillion of times, the fact that we love that person does not change.

The only thing that makes us give up is, the thoughts: "...I am not qualified, or deserving to love such a person!" So, the question of victory, is never the question, whether the other person deserves the love I have to offer, or that he/she is qualified to receive my love.

So, quietly, I imagine myself telling the one I love, "go ahead, make my day, reject me and I'll love you even more!"
