True Mother, Don't Tell Us What to Do, We Are Not A Kid!

What is True Mother saying, when she asks us to give Divine Principle lectures non-stop, like the early church?

Basically she is asking us to go back to the formation stage, into the womb, where we had complete trust to our True Parents. However, because we are now parents and even grandparents, and hold leadership positions in our careers and school...are called Tribal Messiahs, and report in our own name...have a few university degrees under our belt...we say:

"True Mother, please don't treat us as kids, it is not yesterday that we joined!

We say, thanks for being our parent and giving us the Blessing, but we can take it from here. We have gone way beyond the foundation of Blessing.

You even told us to become better than True Parents, and yes, we have done it. After all True Mother you did not even have a chance to go to college, and we have three PhD! Please just give us our freedom and let us run our own community and family life. The less interference from You and HQ, the better we will be able to take ownership!

We say, we don't need to be told what to do anymore! You belong to old generation in our church and you just want to bring it all back! This is not 50 years ago, this is 21st century and we need to adapt to the new age and self-help movements. We need to follow the successful organizations model, not our old church model, which is not relevant anymore!.."

And True Mother, quietly, sighs and tells us:

"Children, I am your parents, and not your master. So, you are free to do as you will. The fact remains, that no matter how old you grow, or how much greater than I, you become, I will still be your parent. So, please don't become a runaway child, a lost orphan, a rebellious teenager.

Talk to me, share your heart, I will listen. You say, I am not accessible; but did you really try to reach me?! Did you try as hard as you tried to reach that Business loan executive or that scholarship fund manager?!

There are time in life that a family needs to reunite, before heading out of the house again. There are times to be taken care of and heal the wounds, instead of just heading to the street.

There are times to go back to where our journey began as parent and child in hearing the Divine Principle and rejoin the movement all over again...
