The Words of the Sedehi Family

Do We Need Korean People or Do They Need Us?

Recently a Unificationist wrote to me as how he struggled with Korean Unificationists. Also, yesterday I had a somewhat ambiguous experience with a Korean brother.

Today when, I just picked up Father speech "Registration in God's Kingdom and Fatherland", somewhere in the middle, this paragraph caught my eye, straight on:

"The spirit of filial piety, fidelity and loyalty, which are the fundamental virtues of human life, are still alive and breathing in Korean history. These values can be found in the men and women of Korea and reflect the pride and spirit of the Korean people."

Indeed, I have observed these values: "filial piety, fidelity and loyalty" in Korean brothers and sisters in our church family. However, there are other virtues that are just as universal that obviously are lacking or not readily present in Korean people, that maybe present in other cultures, and needs to be inherited by them. Likewise, other cultures need to inherit virtues uniquely perfected by Korean people.

What are some values Korean people could inherit from other cultures?
