What Kind of District Council Members I Want

Regarding the upcoming vote (by tomorrow!) for district councils, here's a list of some things I'm looking for in people who'll be influencing the communal decision-making process in my community:

a. Get excited about the value of Father's words and Divine Principle content;

b. Show respect for the viewpoint of others;

c. Are as passionate about external quality as internal purpose;

d. Appreciate the value of each person's contribution to the local community, as varied as it may be;

e. Show a tendency to take initiative on good actions and solutions, rather than waiting on "the church" to "do something about it".

f. Aren't afraid to form and voice their own opinions, and work toward implementing them, even when it contradicts the "official position" of the national organization.

g. Like chocolate.
