The Words of the Shimokawa Family |
Some excerpt from a sermon by Mr. Shimokawa, Fukuoka church leader. My unofficial notes from a translation from Japanese:
In the Old Testament Age, humans are in the servant of servant position....In the Old Testament, they were afraid of God. Jesus called God "Father." For the Israelites, it was completely different.
Even though adopted sons do their best, their position is still adopted sons.
Completed Testament Age is different. Through the Blessing, we can change our blood lineage -- direct son's position. We can call God "Father."
In the Old Testament, God couldn't work directly with humans. God worked through angels.. At Jesus ' time, they're in adopted sons' position. Still, the blood lineage is different. Problem is different blood lineage.
Parents want to meet sons and daughters everyday. God wanted to be always with us... 24 hours a day God wants to be with us.
Father explained many times about the Night God and Day God. Night God --we can't see God. Through True Parents, we can see the Day God. Now it's a totally different age.
...We have to make the Hoon Dok Hae tradition. We need something--- the 8 great Textbooks. If tradition continues through 3 generations, it becomes a tradition. If in 1 generation the tradition is finished, we can't call it a tradition.
Parents and children unite and make a tradition. Shin Joon Nim- True Parents' grandson -- is reading with True Parents at Hoon Dok Hae. True Parents are showing this as a model.
What is God's desire? God wants to live in the family. He doesn't desire fighting.
We have to lead a life of gratitude. Even if you've got some problem, you should be thankful. If you have sickness, you still have to be thankful. This is a new culture.
God desires for you to be thankful to the persons who are closest to you -- your spouse and children.
...we've to live a God-centered life. We have to make this kind of tradition within these 2 years. God wants to make God's country....
Dae Mo Nim will be coming to Fukuoka on March 1st. In Niigata, it's Feb. 18. (Other areas have their own schedule to receive Dae Mo Nim). I heard Father sent Dae Mo Nim this year to help Japan.)
There was also a reorganization of members and leaders under Mrs. Sato, our area leader.
Also, there was a reminder about the donation for the 8 Great Textbooks. Let's do our best.
