The father of our brother Jacob Amon Brou Tegnan and one of the first powerful Christian ministers to join the Unification Church in Africa has made the transition to the spiritual world.

Bishop Brou Tegnan was born on Jan 1st 1937. He has 8 children and 17 grand children.

Jacques Brou Tegnan, met and joined the Unification Church in 1986. At the time of joining he was the presiding bishop of the ACTION CHURCH, a church widespread in the Ivory Coast and surrounding countries. He represented True Parents and Ivory Coast at the 1988 Seoul Olympics peace events.

Bishop Tegnan joined together with his family including Jacob and all his church members that could understand Divine Principle. Bishop and Mrs. Tegnan were blessed by True Parents in Korea as part of the 30,000 couples blessing in 1992.

Please pray for Bishop Tegnan's smooth Ascension and for his son's couple Jacob and Marie Tegnan at this time of the passing of his physical and spiritual father.

We will have a memorial service this Sunday, July 26th from 6:00pm - 8:30 at the Washington Family Church National Cathedral 1610 Columbia Rd. NW., Washington, DC 20009.
