Dear Brothers and Sisters:

Warm Wishes and Greetings of Goodwill from the Visayas!

I am writing you this letter to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for the unconditional support you have given us in the reconstruction of our Visayas Headquarter here in Urgello Street, Cebu City, Philippines.

The Philippines natural hazards come from astride typhoon belt, usually affected by 15 and struck by five to six cyclonic storms per year, landslides, destructive earthquakes, and tsunamis; with the northeast monsoon (November to April) and southwest monsoon (May to October). Due to these, our low lying True Parents’ House in the Visayas is regularly inundated with dirty floodwaters from overflowing canals.

Thanks to your kind hearts, we can now look forward to solving this situation in a reasonable time frame. On my part, I have made personal investments to this endeavor. Likewise, the Visayas members also fundraise to support whenever it is possible, considering the many national mobilizations we are responsible for, which we accomplish without any financial support from National Headquarter.

We spent a total amount of Php 205,172.61 for the constructions of the 2 Sisters comfort rooms, 3 Brothers comfort rooms, septic tank, kitchen and partial land fill all done in 4 months. Meanwhile, a total amount of ¥ 450,000 with the exchange rate of 0.36 into Philippine Peso was received between the periods June to October from Japan. Please see attached pictures and expense report.

We will need at least Php 500,000.00 to land fill roughly half of the area, build a brothers quarters, sisters’ quarters and a series of comfort rooms. After this, we will proceed to the other stages of the construction.

I pray that you will extend your kindness to us until the creation of a building worthwhile to receive guests who study True Parents life, and to eventually receive the True Family in this House. I also look forward to the active involvement of other Blessed Central Families in other areas and countries who may be willing to share a part of their hard earned money for this worthwhile endeavor. I assure you that the money we receive is carefully and frugally spent for which it was committed.
