I just want to send you this information about a witnessing program for young people that is based in Sydney Australia. If you could pass it on to those that are interested and or if you are interested yourself I would love to hear from you and would greatly appreciate that the word get spread around. It is just a new program that was initiated last year, and I truly see the potential of it being a great learning ground especially for young 2nd gen to deepen their faith and understanding of the truth.

As a local 2nd Gen of Australia, I have joined this program from September of last year and I must say I have come to experience the passion and spirit that my parents and I know a lot of first gen felt when they came to learn about the Divine Principle and join the movement. As a 2nd gen the Divine Principle was always there so I took it for granted, but coming to see the power of the words as I come to teach it to young people that we witness too, and as I come to see the inspiration they receive from it, I really am coming to value the Divine Principle and True Parents words more and more. I mean you come to see that we truly have something special. So I personally know it is a great way to get 2nd gen or any young members to really deepen their understanding about God and True Parents and become one with them. Youth Outreach Team (YOT)

When you go to the spirit world, the only thing that you can be proud of is your witnessing result. The only thing to be proud of is how many lives you have saved. This is your only asset.

Witnessing is emphasized as the most important activity we can do in our life. From the above words from Father, 'it is the only thing to be proud of'. As a result Australia has taken the initiative to start off a Youth program that is designed primarily around witnessing activities.

This program is known as the Youth Outreach Team (YOT), which is a 1 year volunteer youth initiative designed to allow young people to strengthen their faith and character and to prepare them for their future. Through witnessing and fundraising activities they will come to experience what it means to inherit the true heart of Heavenly Father and True Parents and truly be able to grasp the significance of becoming a True Owner of their Faith.
